LRC GOVERNMENT INCREASES TAXI FARES BY 50 FCFA.

LRC transporters are meticulous and shrewd and may triple this increase to the detriment of the common man and the silent majority who barely survive from hand to mouth. The Colonial broke LRC government through its colonial Ministry of Trade has announced a FCFA 50 increase in taxi fares across the national territory.  The information was made public by the colonial LRC’s Luc Magloire Mbarga Atangana, Trade Minister on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 — during a concertation with LRC transporters’ Trade Unions. According to the colonial LRC trade Minister, taxi fares will henceforth step up from FCFA 250 to 300 during the day and from FCFA 300 to FCFA 350 by night. Children from 0 to 06 years old will be transported free of charge, those from 07 to 11 years will be transported for FCFA 7 per kilometre, and those from 12 to 21 years old will be transported for FCFA 9 per kilometre.

“Persons with disabilities will be transported for FCFA 7 per kilometre while those from 22 years and above will be transported for FCFA 14 per kilometre,”. Many in different parts of the country are already complaining about the move, as it follows a recent increase in the prices of petroleum products across the territory. Undaunted notes here in passing that LRC is broke and very broke. LRC is a nation on life support and even in Yaounde the nation’s capital energy is rationed. Water and electricity remain scarce commodities. The tendency is that LRC transporters are meticulous and shrewd and since the Yaounde junta never follows up its decisions they will certainly triple this increase to the detriment of the common man and the silent majority who barely survive from hand to mouth
