AWING PEOPLE DEMONSTRATE RESILIENCE

Awing Development Association Meets For The Annual Meeting. Awing is one of the villages in Southern Cameroons that La Republique du CameroUn colonial forces are able to penetrate and administer as before. The Ambazonia Liberation fighters in Awing have stood their grounds in pushing back any invading attempt of Biya's terrorist forces. This has made Awing one of the red zones for the Fight for freedom with bloody battles with human casualties. Even at that, the sons and daughters of Awing are determined to take the development of their village to another level. They converged last Friday in the village for the General Annual come together to put on a road map for the development of the village.

Isn’t it not glaring now that British Southern Cameroonians do not need LRC anymore to develop? Speaking during the end of year general assembly in Awing, the President asked Awing people to continue being peaceful and united in order to push forth development in the community. Roads being the present major axe of development in the village, PG Christian Tanyi begged them not to get angry if they destroy their property or use their farms to construct the roads. He explained that the road will be for all and will bring development to Awing.

"If you refuse the road to pass through your farm, where will it pass?" He asked!

He went further by saying that, if you see the roads passing today, it’s on someone’s property or farm. If you are using this road today, it’s because someone willingly allowed it to pass there. Christian Tanyi, told them to instead welcome the technicians working on the roads, give them Achu to eat and water to drink rather than getting angry because they touched your farm. The Ndong Awing Cultural Development Association general annual meeting started on Friday 16th with different branches meeting and will end Saturday 17th. And we are looking forward to bringing you the outcome of it.

It is now obvious more than ever that Ambazonians' resilience will definitely bring them to the promised land.
