RAISING FUNDS FOR DEVELOPEMENT AT BAFUT CULTURAL FESTIVAL

Bafut Indigenes and elites speed development in Bafut by themselves.

While Lrc are given excuses in the US AFRICA SUMMIT, as to why developments in the cameroons is still a disappointment, Southern Cameroons Ambazonia are taking the bull by the horn. Southern Cameroonians are a very determined breed of people in all spheres and most especially when it comes to development. LRC has failed in the development of Southern Cameroons and any part of Southern Cameroons still looking onto the colonial La Republique du CameroUn for development will have to wait forever. It is incumbent for the people of Southern Cameroons to take responsibility in the development of their areas. The sons and daughters of the Bafut Fondom have mastered this and are now taking appropriate steps to free Bafut from the developmental stalemate LRC plunged them into.

Bafut Community in Yaounde have come together to raise funds to carry out some developmental projects. When people are determined, what can stop them, because the answer is nothing! As they’ll keep trying until they win. The Bafut community in Yaounde has organized the Bafut Manjong to showcase the culture of the Bafut people and also raise funds to carry out some development projects and provide pipe borne water, electricity and the maintenance of farm to market roads among other projects. The festival was authorized to take place in Yaounde by the Paramount Fon of Bafut, His Majesty Fon Aboumbi II.

Speaking at the event, the in-house slave Mayor of Bafut, Ngwakongoh Lawrence saluted all who were present and noted that the development of Bafut is a collective responsibility. While launching the fundraising with the sum of 300,000 Frs, Ngwakongoh saluted the efforts of all those who had answered present at the event. Conspicuous amongst them was the in-house slave Honourable Agho Oliver, Member of Parliament for Bafut/Tubah constituency. While supporting the development projects, Agho Oliver donated the sum of one million Francs. He was supported by in-house slave Ministers Paul Atanga Nji of illegal Territorial Administration handed an envelope of 300,000 Frs, Paul Ghogomu of Special Duties at the colonial Presidency with 300,000 Frs and Felix Mbayu of the Commonwealth with 100,000 Frs.

According to the Member of the illegal parliament, a people without a culture are no people at all. He says "Development is our thing. We cannot allow others to come from elsewhere and support development in this constituency more than us". One of the indigenes of Bafut appreciated the MP. In his words he notes that the MP has been at the forefront of development like the support to PSS Bafut, support to patients and supporting the poor and underprivileged. Others supported the initiative like the former MP for Bafut/Tubah, Fusi Naamukong Wilfred who handed an envelope of 100,000 francs while the SDF National chair, Nji John Fru Ndi gave the sum 150,000 francs.

Dr Ajambang Walter, Chief of center for IRAD Bambui and leading political figure in Bafut duffed 250,000 francs.

There was total jubilation as most of the earmarked projects are hoped to be executed in 2023.

The organization of the event was led by Madam Megan Jacqueline, Inspector General of Services at the illegal Ministry of the Public Service and Administrative Reforms.

You see the indigenous spirit of Southern Cameroonians. We can only be hopeful until next year.
