EXCLUSIVE DISCUSSION: 2022 CHRISTMAS OUTREACH

This past December 2022, the Department of Women’s Services carried out a Christmas outreach to IDPs, war widows, the wounded, POW and Refugees, all victims of the war in Ambazonia ( Southern Cameroons). This initiative was possible because of donations made by kind hearted individuals comprising mostly Ambazonians and some non-Ambazonians. A total of about $9100 was realized. The outreach to some of the refugees in Nigeria was the largest single outreach by the DWS; a total of $3000 dollars was sent yielding N2,100,000. Two settlements benefited from the outreach in terms of receiving food items. However young women and girls from all 4 settlements received pads.

The Department appreciates Mr. Azie of SATWO Foundation for facilitating the outreach. We equally thank all the donors and especially the women who worked hard to solicit donations. We look forward to planning and carrying out a better outreach in 2023 with God’s help.
