CBC SAYS NO STRIKE IN PERSPECTIVE

CBC Denies Strike Action, Mute On Arrested BBH Staff

The Management of the Cameroon Baptist Convention, CBC, has issued a disclaimer of an eminent strike action by workers of Banso Baptist Hospital BBH, if staff arrested by the thug LRC military are not released. The disclaimers says nothing about the three persons arrested by the colonial military of the Yaounde regime in Banso. UNDAUNTED reported yesterday that workers of BBH are planning a strike action in solidarity to their colleagues arrested September 22. Within the context of the ongoing war in Southern Cameroons, many institutions are striving to stay on by avoiding to anger the warrying parties.

At times a victimized institution will chose a hypocritical silence rather than being vocal in denouncing. No matter what, an institution must not be protected at the detriment of her staff. With this disclaimer, who or what is the CBC Manager protecting? Why are those arrested not mentioned by the Manager This is were we will begin the full briefings of Undaunted tonight. The Manager of CBC in a document of September 6, disclaims the news of the eminent strike action of workers of BBH

The disclaimer states,

"The Management of the Cameroon Baptist Convention, CBC health services in general and Banso Baptist Hospital BBH in particular wishes to distance herself from all information in content or in nature published on social media, claiming that BBH staff want to go on strike. Such publications are not made for or on behalf of the institution.

Banso Baptist Hospital has no plan to indulge in any activity that may cause unrest or any form of public order… "

According to reliable sources, three workers of the said hospital were arrested on September 22, and whisked to an unknown destination by the colonial LRC military, accusing them of treating Amba fighters. UNDAUNTED gathered that on September 22, Jean Sama an administrator and two nurses, Teba Carine, Teyeah Relindys, all workers of Banso Baptist Hospital, were all arrested without any warrant of arrest by the colonial LRC military. Banso is one of the hot zone with the ongoing war in Southern Cameroons for mounting a stiff resistance against the invading colonial LRC military.
