Tarh's Rejoinder To The Guardian Post

Editor-in-chief

The Guardian post newspaper

Dear Sir,

REJOINDER  TO THE GUARDIAN POST

In your edition of Tuesday February 8th 2022, you published on your front page a story you captioned "Power tussle further sinks the Ambazonian Independence Struggle."

It is not new to the people of Ambazonia that the position of your news organ has always been that, to project the negative aspects of the Restoration Quest for the freedom of the people of the former British southern Cameroon today, known as Ambazonia, for reasons best known to you.

But we will never relent in doing due diligence by correcting you each time you go wrong or exaggerate in your look at the happenings within this fight for our freedom, which is a fundamental human right of the people.

We are a people with interim laws - the Interim Constitution (IC), who have strict respect for our laws and proceedings and until you know the interrelationship of the various structures and organs design by our laws, and the internal procedures that go with, and are  required in the functioning of the system, you do not have the moral authority to go public, make commentaries and make assertions or raise an alarm on a so-called "power tussle" and "impeachment" that never was, procedurally, as per our Interim Constitution as well as the Terms of Reference of the Restoration Council (RC).

An impeachment is a process that needs the institution that is called to carry out that process to be by itself representative of the people, and carry out proceedings as requested by the law, with all the actors called to listen and be heard. It would appear that your news organ is not only aiding and abetting the genocidal onslaught in our homeland Ambazonia, your platform has suddenly become an instrument of misinformation/disinformation, cacophony,...

We will not have people paid by our enemies to come out and venture to violate our laws and proceedings just to disrupt the serenity in our leadership for ulterior motives, and you are not helping the integrity of your institution by heralding fake news.

Furthermore and more importantly, it's misleading to aver that the Interim Government of Ambazonia is crumbling; individuals go but institutions remain, and you should be fair with your audience by reporting to them, that we so far "les anglo" have built government institutions - a template of modernity that La République du Cameroun has never known. Ours is a fight for freedom and we will keep purging within our midst infiltrators, enablers and blacklegs.

Sir, we will like to have you publish this rejoinder in same position that you published your story, and the accompanying attachments (document from SG of RC, the Terms of Reference of the RC as well as the Interim Constitution) so as to get your readers and reporters be educated on how the Rule of Law operates in Ambazonia.

Kind regards,

Tarh Paddy King
