THE IG IS NOT PART OF ANY GATHERING IN CANADA

We are aware that Cameroun via Dion Ngute contacted the Canadian High Commissioner to Cameroun and pleaded with him to convene a gathering of "anglophones" in Toronto. In the said soon-to-be gathering (if and only if it's going to hold), LRC's director of Buea-base CEFAM will represent them. In this meeting, it's said that attendees are going to be talking about local governance and special status in "NW & SW" using Quebec as "a good example" in Canada. The whole thing is not gaining the traction they had expected especially, from the international community. If it's still being envisaged to hold, it'll be a second Grand Débat National. If you don't wanna call it Grand Débat National II, called CDN Toronto II. Its membership is made of Agbor Balla, Omam Esther, John Mbah Akuroh, Cho Ayaba, Archbishop Nkea, "Traditional rulers", etc. New entries are likely going to be Anu Christopher, Boh Herbert, Abdulkarim, etc.

It is said that the IG was approached and their response was "we aren't part of any of such gatherings." The High Commissioner was reminded that the IG is ready to meet Biya when they are ready for what I will call a country versus country mediated negotiations with a consensual third party designated by the two warring countries - that is Cameroun and Ambazonia. Thus, the IG is not interested in some "Camerounised" gimmick or something like their "grand /large débat" as they've been doing in Cameroun.

Ironically, Cameroun cannot withdraw from the Internationally-endorsed Swiss-Led Mediation Process and is surreptitiously using a Canadian to organize a fake gathering of her allies. They might have successfully deceived our forebears then, but not now as we are the #NeverAgainGeneration. So, this jamboree of a "2022 Toronto retreat" has nothing to do with the IG.
